This pre-feasibility study was completed to evaluate the technical and economic viability of methane drainage utilizing longhole directional drilling at the Amasra Hard Coal Mine in Turkey. The principal objective of the pre-feasibility study was to assess the technical and economic viability of methane drainage utilizing longhole directional drilling at the Amasra Hard Coal Mine, and using this gas to produce electricity or compressed natural gas (CNG).
