The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) released a Global Methane Assessment report that shows human-caused methane emissions can be reduced by 45% this decade to avoid 0.3% of global warming by 2045. The results of the assessment show climate impacts associated with methane emissions and the advantages of methane mitigation strategies to address climate change concerns and other sectors such as public health and air quality.
