Emissions Quantification and Measurement, Reporting, and Verification 21Process Ecology has extensive experience in emissions management reporting, primarily within the oil and gas industry, where we have been supporting clients for over 15 years. Our expertise is founded on the development of specialized software (Emissions Advisor) for emissions regulatory reporting, which enables our clients to efficiently meet and exceed regulatory requirements. Through our consulting services, we provide comprehensive guidance, ensuring compliance and streamlining/automating reporting processes that adapt to evolving industry standards. We also support emissions mitigation planning with a custom software solution (TEAM) which allows clients to proactively identify and evaluate emissions reduction strategies. TEAM empowers clients to plan for emissions mitigation in a way that aligns with their operational and regulatory needs, in line with their corporate sustainability goals. A more recent advancement is our capability for real-time emissions tracking (RT-GHG), with successful projects already implemented. This development enables clients to monitor and quantify emissions data continuously from plant data, allowing for immediate insight and quicker response times to manage emissions effectively in dynamic environments. The real-time tracking system has proven valuable for clients who need current data to evaluate key environmental metrics such as emissions intensity. To further support our clients, we have enhanced our offerings to integrate emissions reporting with Fuel-Flare-Vent (FFV) production accounting. Our innovative "smart metering schematic" solution addresses the complexities of fuel and vent flows within gas plants, providing clients with a detailed, accurate picture of their fuel and emissions footprint. This schematic improves reporting accuracy and bridges the gap between emissions tracking and production accounting to support optimal plant operations and regulatory compliance. Overall, our company’s integrated software solutions and consulting expertise enable oil and gas clients to achieve accurate, compliant, and proactive emissions management, supporting their journey toward sustainability and operational excellence.
Project Technical (design, engineering, and planning)25Process Ecology performs pre-FEED and FEED engineering work in support of methane mitigation projects, including technology evaluations for CCUS, energy efficiency, methane capture and conservation, gas destruction, acid gas injection, hydrogen blending, and fuel cell evaluations. We have extensive process engineering and process simulation expertise to support these studies.
