Winrock Internatinoal (WI) is a nonprofit organization that works with people in the United States and around the world to empower the disadvantaged, increase economic opportunity, and sustain natural resources.
WI matches innovative approaches in agriculture, natural resources management, clean energy, and leadership development with the needs of our partners. WI is currently implementing its mission through more than 80 projects worldwide with total annual funding over $50 M. ERT, a part of WI since 2007, built the world's first private emissions registry in 1997 and is the largest registry for project offsets and voluntary emissions reductions in the US. Since its launch ERT has worked with major US companies in key emitting sectors providing technical support to enable accurate emissions tracking using our on-line serialized registry system. |
