RTI International supports global ambitions to reduce methane by 30% by 2030, in line with the Global Methane Pledge (GMP). We have been at the forefront of methane mitigation for over two decades, developing techno-economic models to assess methane mitigation potential and costs for all major emitting sectors that have been applied at the project, country and regional levels for abatement projects; developing and scaling new abatement technologies; and leading international programs to measure and reduce methane emissions and help countries reduce their methane emissions to meet GMP targets. Our clients include the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Department of Energy, the World Bank, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the private sector, and more. RTI’s economists, engineers, natural scientists, and international development experts have expertise in the energy, waste, and agriculture sectors related to methane emissions and mitigation options. |
