In our Sugar Division we already have an E.T.P., which captures Methane & Converts into energy. In our group we already have a large S.T.P. providing Boiler feed-water to our 220 MW LSHS IPP & and a small demonstration S.T.P. at our Engineering College, run by a not-for-profit Society. We are also proposing to set up an Organic (Kitchen & Horticultural) Waste-to-Biogas (Methane) project to displace usage of LPG. Further, our NGO, GMR Varalakshmi Foundation wishes to establish S.T.P.s & Human Waste-to-Biogas plants for the benefit of local communities. Self is principal coordinator for all Green / Clean activities and studying & deployment of Carbon Neutral Initiatives & Clean Development Mechanism Projects. |
