Event Details: The theme for the 25th World Mining Congress is “Innovation Excellence: Step Forward to Mining Growth”. The Global Methane Initiative (GMI) and United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Group of Experts on Coal Mine Methane (GOE on CMM) will be holding a one-day session on 20 June to promote and encourage the adoption and implementation of best practices in the drainage and utilization of coal mine methane (CMM), and to promote enabling policies to further CMM project development.
