Colombia Landfill Gas Model Workshop

Event Details: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as part of the Global Methane Initiative (GMI) and in collaboration with ANDESCO is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a Colombia Landfill Gas Model Workshop. The workshop will be held in Bogota, Colombia, December 5, 2011. Representatives of EPA's Landfill Methane Outreach Program will be presenting information about GMI, landfill gas, landfill gas control and collection systems, and the Colombia Landfill Gas Model. The workshop will also include presentations on landfill gas projects currently operating in Colombia, and presentations from representatives of the Ministry of Environment and the Public Utility Superintendence. The majority of the workshop will be held in Spanish, and the remaining presentations will be given in English with simultaneous translation to Spanish.
