The Global Methane Initiative’s (GMI) Steering Committee met on Thursday, 9 June 2022. The meeting took place virtually using the Microsoft Teams platform.
The purpose of the Steering Committee meeting was to hold discussions regarding:
- Updates regarding Strategic Partnerships
- Consistency in methane action planning work
- Sharing technical expertise and resources across groups
- Developing a joint workplan
- Finalizing the Steering Committee Action Plan and GMI Engagement Strategy
- Planning for the 2022 Global Methane Forum
- GMI Secretariat updates
