Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada (PTAC) and Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN) will conduct their annual Methane Emissions Reduction Forum (MERF) on 4-5 November. The virtual forum will be held from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm MST.
Stakeholders from government organizations, regulatory bodies, oil and gas producing companies, service and supply companies, research centres, and academic institutions are invited to discuss and collaborate on various aspects of oil and gas methane emission detection, mitigation, and reporting. Topics to be covered include regulations, policies, research, technology development and deployment, and best practices. Participants will discuss challenges facing the Canadian oil and gas industry related to 2025 methane emissions reduction targets.
