Resource India Expo 2012 will include information on waste management, wastewater treatment, and pollution control. The goal of the event is to encourage industry and businesses to adopt technologies and methodologies that minimize waste, conserve resources, and save energy. The event will also play a leading role in promoting ''green'' lifestyles and achieving stewardship of resources for current and future generations. The National Conference on Waste Management & Wastewater Treatment, which is being spearheaded by the German International Co-operation (GIZ), will be co-located with the event.
