Description of Project	This project will analyze the efficiency of existing coalbed methane (CBM) and coal mine methane (CMM) recovery projects in Shanxi Province and develop a series of recommendations to enhance CBM/CMM recovery and reduce emissions in its mines. The University will also promote the recovery and utilization of methane in China by serving as a central repository for CBM/CMM information in Shanxi Province, and will conduct CO2 sequestration modeling.
