Minerals Management Service (MMS) is A bureau of the U.S. Dept. of Interior. MMS is the federal agency responsible for managing the mineral resources located on the U.S. Outer Continental Shelf. Among other responsibilities, MMS regulates flaring and venting of natural gas in federal waters. |
