Megtec Systems provides engineering and equipment for the abatement and energy recovery of very low methane contents, typically ½ to 1%. Abatement at landfills, and energy conversion of coal mine ventilation air methane. Large scale VAM to Energy plant being installed at BHP Billiton in Australia for oxidizing 250 000 Nm3/h (150 000 scfm) and generating 6 MW of electricity. |
