The University of Venda is a rural-based institution in South Africa, developing several initiatives on how to reduce emissions from landfill sites. Our main objective is to reduce domestic waste in landfills. One of the ways it can be achieved is by developing waste reduction systems from the source, especially in the rural areas. |
