We have always been in the research of how to concentrate methane from low concentration CMM by PSA process.
A successful technology must satisfy two aspects: first, advanced and reliable; second, good economically. We require our process to meet these standards all the time.
Now we proposed an Ambient Adsorption and Vacuum Desorption process including multi-pressure equalization and vacuum purge steps. Recently we built a Six-Adsorption Bed experimental apparatus to simulate this process with PLC control.
The running data shows: the mixed gas of methane and air where the methane concentration is 20% (v), is separated by PSA, the stream of methane gas with methane concentration >50% (v) and the stream of effluent nitrogen with methane concentration<2% (v) can be obtained.
