PTAC is a not-for-profit member funded organization that has the following Mandate: Facilitating Innovation, Collaborative Research and Technology Development, Demonstration and Deployment for a Responsible Western Canadian Upstream Hydrocarbon Energy Industry. Within PTAC there is a section called Technology for Emission Reduction and Eco-Efficiency (TEREE) that has a primary function in finding technologies to reduce GHG's and emissions in the conventional oil and gas industry in Western Canada. |
