The Biofuels Racing Alliance ("BFRA") is a competitive alternative fuels racing organization that showcases the power and performance capabilities of automobiles, trucks, and motorcycles that utilize alternative fuels such as ethanol and biodiesel derived from waste resources such as recycled restaurant greases which would normally be improperly discarded down drains and toilets by the general public and unecessarily disposed into landfills by businesses. BFRA promotes the production and consumption of alternative fuels in the world of motorsports in the same way that NASCAR markets petroleum products. BFRA also works with small farmers to promote organic farming, methane capture and harvesting and sustainable living. BFRA organizes and promotes "waste to energy" programs, methane to markets programs, biofuels protocols and carbon trading efforts through the exciting world of green motorsports. |
