Obtain Your United Nations (UN) Entry Badge

Please review the UNECE webpage for important details about arriving at the Palais des Nations, including instructions for obtaining your UN entry badge. Please allow enough time to get your badge and walk to the meeting room on the day that you arrive.

You will pick up your UN entry badge at the Peace Gate which is open from 07:00 – 17:00. You must bring your passport to pick up your badge. We strongly recommend picking up your badge as soon as possible to ensure you are not delayed arriving at the event.

If you plan to attend the Monday evening Welcome Reception and Methane Action Showcase at the Palais from 18:30–20:00, you must pick up your UN entry badge at Peace Gate between 07:00–17:00. You will be unable to attend the Monday evening reception if you do not pick up your badge before the Peace Gate closes at 17:00.

Check In at the Forum Registration Desk

Stop by the registration desk in the Tempus hallway (near the Peace Gate) to pick up your Forum name tag. The registration desk will be open from 09:00–18:00 on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

The Forum name tag will identify the sectors of interest you identified during registration (biogas, coal, oil & gas). A unique QR code on the back of the name tag will allow you to check the agenda, track connections made, provide feedback, upload photos, and evaluate session.

Biogas and Coal Sessions at the Geneva International Conference Center

The Biogas Joint Technical Sessions will be held on Monday (15:00-18:00) and Wednesday (10:00-18:00) in Salle 4 and the Coal Joint Technical Sessions will be held on Wednesday (10:00-18:00) in Salle 3 at the Geneva International Conference Center (CICG). CICG is located a short walk (approximately 8 minutes) across the street from the Palais des Nations Peace Gate. Check the map for guidance!

Dining Options at the Palais des Nations

The UN cafeteria is located in Building A and is open from 11:30–14:00 Monday through Friday. The cafeteria has ample seating and is a great option for side meetings during the 2024 Forum. You may also visit the Serpent Bar, located in Building E, which is open 08:30 AM - 16:00 PM and also offers food and drinks. For more information on dining at the Palais, visit the UN website.
