REGISTER NOW for the Global Methane Forum to be held April 16‑18, 2018 in Toronto, Canada. Join your fellow methane experts and policy-makers from around the world to discuss options for methane reduction and abatement activities. Organized by the Global Methane Initiative, the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), and the Government of Canada, the Forum will be held back-to-back with a CCAC Working Group Governance meeting, which will take place at the same venue on April 19‑20. The Best Practices in Coal Mine Methane (CMM) Drainage and Utilization workshop was held on 7-9 June 2017 in Katowice, Poland. The workshop coincided with the opening of the International Centre of Excellence on Coal Mine Methane (ICE-CMM). The principal role of the Centre will be to actively support the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe’s Group of Experts on CMM in its capacity building activities.
