Community Initiatives for Development and Environment (CIDE) is a non-government, non-profit establishment. It is working on issues related with human settlements like environment, physical planning and infrastructure development, and socio-economic development. It seeks to implement its objectives by mobilizing the community for better public interest. The main objectives of the organization are: • Designing of activities for managing the environment in efficient manner using scientific & engineering principles. • Working for the socio-economic and physical development of human settlements. • Bringing gender at par at levels of the society. • Promoting policy-development level strategies for the betterment of human settlements at the local, national & regional level. • Encouraging research and development related activities at different levels of the society.
