| Description of Project
|
Project launched 2009. Combustion of methane in an engine of 1 MWel power allows generation of about 1 thousand MWhe of electricity per month. About 9 m3/minute of methane is combusted in the engine. Methane emissions from the mine are reduced and power is generated for the mine’s electricity needs.
